GYM RULES AND POLICIES

To maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all members, please adhere to the following rules and policies:

1. Foster a Positive Atmosphere:

Our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Please approach all interactions with kindness and respect. Given our intimate setting, your positive energy contributes significantly to a nourishing atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Negative behavior or "bad vibes" undermine our collective goal of mutual respect and personal growth.

2. Respect for Members and Staff:

Respect and courtesy are essential for a harmonious gym environment. All members and staff must be treated with dignity and consideration. Disrespectful behavior, including verbal and non-verbal communication, is not acceptable and will be addressed appropriately.

3. Zero Tolerance for Disruptive Behavior:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of disruptive behavior, including spreading rumors, engaging in gossip, or making derogatory remarks about other members or staff. Such actions are detrimental to our community and will be dealt with seriously. Maintaining a respectful and professional environment is essential for everyone's well-being.

4. Individual Membership Requirement:

To ensure fair access and proper facility management, all members must have their own individual membership. Sharing memberships or gym access is strictly prohibited. Each member's registration helps us maintain a safe and well-operated gym.

5. Key Fob or Bluetooth Access:

All Gym members are required to scan in using their key fob or Bluetooth access at the door reader upon entry. This measure helps us ensure that only authorized members have access to the gym and enhances overall security.

Membership Cancellation Policy

To cancel your membership, you must be signed up for at least 3 months before submitting a cancellation request. Once your cancellation is processed, a 30-day notice is required, and your membership will remain active until the end of this period. You are welcome to continue using the gym during this time.

How to Request Cancellation. For any Member cancellation allowed pursuant to this Article I, Member must request cancellation either (1) via email to [allison@montereycorefitness.com] , (2) via first-class mail to [191 Lighthouse Ave Suite B Monterey, CA 93940] , or (3) in-person at [Monterey Core Fitness] facility. A cancellation request shall be deemed submitted on the date it is received in the [Monterey Core Fitness] Member Services office, or (4) On the company website under the cancellation section, whether via email or first-class mail, online or, in the case of in-person cancellation at an [Monterey Core Fitness] facility, upon issuance of the [Monterey Core Fitness] email confirming receipt of the cancellation request.

Cancellation Policy for Group Classes:

We value your commitment to our group classes and strive to maintain an organized schedule for the benefit of all participants. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your participation in a group class, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the class. If cancellation occurs within 12 hours of the scheduled class time, a fee of $15 will be charged in addition to the loss of the class.
